Hello, I’m David. I’m the founder of the company and host of the podcast. It’s a true pleasure to meet you. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

My life as a hotelier has quite literally taken me all over the world. My family and I have had the pleasure of living in 11 different locations over the past 20 years — from Hawaii to Hong Kong.

I used to to chase success and notoriety as a leader, always hustling and driving towards the “next best” outcome — usually a position or title. I would drive to grow into these higher roles, no matter the cost. My ambition was my best friend and my worst enemy at the same time.

I did a great job managing at work; not so much at home. I used to live distracted and addicted. I was triggered by the smallest actions and I would typically lash out at those I loved most — my children.

Then, one day, I was forced to wake up.

I came to a reckoning with myself, where I had to face the choice of passing my trauma onto my children or changing the generational patters that placed me in this situation I was in.

I chose to change.

Since then, I’ve been on what I now realize is a lifelong journey of intentionality and presence. I have come to recognize that my now unfiltered life is a true blessing — each and every moment. This journey has allowed me to explore deep inside myself, find glimpses of my highest self and to then apply the lessons learned to reach higher states of consciousness and frequency.

Now that I have experienced this, I feel a responsibility to help others do the same.

This is why I created Conscious Hospitality Unlimited. This community is my vehicle to spread light and energy to all of you and to build deeper bonds through the shared wisdom and resources our network provides.

Throughout my global adventure, I also realized that authenticity is the single most important ingredient to living a happy life. I interacted with humans from all walks of life — ethnicities, backgrounds and cultures. Deep inside, though, they were all the same.

They we are all human.

Humans like myself; with personalities, deeply engrained beliefs, fears and values inculcated into them by their parents, guardians, teachers, religious leaders — and society in general. Humans with dreams and ambitions
